Tsushima Wildlife Conservation Center
The Tsushima leopard cat Conservation Center is set up for the purpose of protection and conservation for the area’s wild animals and plants, including Tsushima's iconic mascot, the "Tsushima leopard cat".
In November 2019, the Tsushima leopard cat mascot named “Kanata” was created for the Tsushima Wildlife Conservation Center, but it is currently closed due to the effects of the new coronavirus. Foxes do not live in Tsushima, but deer and wild boar outnumber the human population of Tsushima. There are also no bears, so you can travel with peace of mind.
